I’d like to introduce the government warning level, that’s a completely subjective and satirical evaluation by me to determine the extent to which governments world wide threaten their people.
Currently in Australia, the threat level is Medium to High across the country, with a steady increase to High as you move south-west into South Australia predicted through the week.
However, for those of you in America I’ve had to translate the Australian threat level into colour in order to breach the language barrier.
FUSCIA!

Actually, having a threat level indicator for government would be a GREAT idea! How would we measure that? With a bunch of different indicators, like “new laws,” “anti-privacy,” “drug war,” “warfare” and “jail population”?
You could include it as a feature at GovernmentIsEvil.com. How about measuring it as the risk you will suffer at the hands of a government agent? For example, it would increase over tax time, decrease on public holidays (because most don’t work) and increase indefinitely as certain new laws are passed.
Somehow i missed the point. Probably lost in translation
Anyway … nice blog to visit.
cheers, Friedman!!
